We want every page on Commercial Broker Guide to be right. When one is not, we fix it and say so.
How to report an error
Use the contact page and send the page address, what is wrong, and a source if you have one. A person reads every report.
What we do
- Check it. We compare the report against the original source.
- Fix it. If we were wrong, we correct the page, usually within two business days.
- Note it. When a fix changes the meaning of a story, such as a figure, a date or a legal detail, we add a short note on the page saying what changed and when.
- Small fixes. Typos and broken links are fixed without a note.
Figures and dates
Insurance prices and rules change often. Our stories give the date we last checked each source. If you see a number that has changed, tell us and we will update it.
Broker profiles
If you work at a firm listed in our directory, you can claim your profile for free and send corrections directly. A person on our team reviews every change before it appears.
Removing content
We do not remove accurate stories because a company dislikes them. We do remove or change content that is wrong, that exposes private information, or that we no longer stand behind.
